Getting Hanna settled in had been Aria's top priority, and was easier said than done, with Caleb's fate entirely out of their hands. The fog had spooked her, but for Aria, what she needed was a little time away from the throng of people sharing their room. They were all perfectly nice, and respectful, but it didn't help that she was missing Ezra, and the apartment that had become like a second home to her. She wondered if she would ever see him again, and her Mom. Aria had always considered herself pretty independent, but even she would consider this out of her league. As she left the room she shared the enormity of the hotel surrounding her made her feel small and young, but she wouldn't let it get to her. She'd survived three years of A. and her constant harassment, she could handle a little sci-fi freakazoid hotel! Aria tilted her chin and walked to the elevator, defying the shadows to move while she inspected her nails - never the longest, or the most fashionable. They made up for it in their mass of colour-matches. Florescent pink and green sat alongside black and yellow. Some chipped, some freshly painted. Whichever chipped next she'd paint as her mood took her at the time. "Finally!" the doors opened and Aria stepped into the giant metal box - which wasn't exactly how she wanted to think about the elevator right now. Not in this hotel! Instead of giving in to her fear she pushed the button for B3, where the entertainment level lay. Aria hadn't been there yet, but she needed something to take her mind off the fog, and if it was going to happen anywhere, it would be here. The doors opened and she headed out into the corridors. It was quieter than she'd have liked, but some of the rooms looked like fun, depending on what your thing was. As she headed along one corridor she saw a pink glow, and her brow furrowed in curiosity. "What the..." a broad smile crossed her lips as she saw the glowing pink flamingo on the wall outside of what looked like a club. "Cute. Real cute," Aria stepped through the door, checking the place out. Hot tubs, pink lighting, and even a rad DJ booth all went to make it a pretty nice place to hang out. "Shame to leave it empty," a smile crossed her lips and she hopped around behind the booth, trying to work out how to power it up. She pressed random buttons, trying to figure it out, until suddenly sound blasted from the speakers and Aria almost jumped out of her skin in shock. "Okay, just music," she breathed, reassuring herself, steadying herself and trying desperately to calm her shattered nerves. |
