Every day, no matter how good their accommodation, Jaz wished the gym were a little nearer their room, but the trek down to the basement had quickly become part of her warm up. By the time she opened the door she was ready to go, and take the machines on at their own game. Part of her wished there was a shooting range too, but you couldn't have everything, she figured with a sigh. Since she and Dean had met this weird, new Sam things had been kinda off. "Only for you, Jazzy," the ever-present image of her Granny May was perched up on the porch in her mind, peeling apples for one of her famous apple pies. "As far as Dean's concerned, he's finally got his brother back. You can't blame him for being content," and as far as wise words went, they were pretty darn good. "I don't trust him," having strapped her hands, Jaz let loose a killer jab at the punch-bag. "How can two versions of the same person be so different?" A quick right hook punctuated the point. She tried to ignore Granny May's stern shake of her head and threw herself into her training. Jaz didn't begrudge Dean his brother by any stretch of the imagination, far from it! From everything he'd told her Sam was a pretty alright kinda guy - though he had his moments. After speaking to him, however, she couldn't help but feel it was all just too easy! One moment they weren't talking, and then next here he was, as large as life and just as Dean had described him. It should be the other Sam that made her uneasy. She delivered a jarring combination, following up with a throat-kick, and flat-handed punch to the 'face'. She gave herself a moment to breath, and took the opportunity to have a swig of water, before hitting the treadmill. "Hey," she called, having barely got on as a woman entered the room. "You look familiar, have we met?" she asked with a slight frown, trying to place the face. "Oh, I know, you were on the train, right? I'm Jaz. Parks. I don't think we've ever been introduced," she said with a smile. |
