Hospital, the morning of a few days later ---> Helix
A few days had passed since Aidan was hospitalized and most of those days Festival had been by his bedside, talking about nothing in particular. The grim topic about what happened that day and Helix's subsequent betrayal had only been touched that one time and even then they hadn't gone into any details - Aidan had passed out right after spilling the truth and the barowner hadn't felt right about bringing it up again. Sure, he obviously wanted to know what really happened, not only because the red-head hadn't given him the full story but also because there was something more to the two boys friendship that he hadn't picked up on before now.
Festival parked his speeder in the parking lot just outside the hospital and made his way towards the main entrance, feeling quite good about everything for once. He'd had a good morning so far and knowing that Aidan was making as speedy of a recovery as you could expect made it easy to keep up that good mood. The relief of not having his shoulders clenched up with tension was enough for him to drop his guard, attention landing miles away from the path ahead.
