The next evening--->Festival
After practically being forced out the door, Helix decided he'd go ahead and get some air. He'd been cooped up in that apartment of theirs, tucked away under some building where no one would care, fishing for answers and wracking his brain over coming up with a plan. It wasn't that he disagreed with going out for a bit to relax, having a drink or two and something to eat other than microwavables. It was the fact the other was insisting he do so at the bar and 'getting to know' this Festival character. He really... really didn't care for the guy at first glance and didn't want to really know him either.
But Aiden did have one valid point. The safest place for them was the Black Out. Though bar food tended not to be all the best in the world, it was a lot better than most could offer and definitely better than nothing at all. So begrudgingly he tossed up his hood, pulled up his turtle neck to cover his nose and chin, then zipped up and headed up to the bar.
Once inside he eyed the place, found a fairly secluded booth and sat where no one would really see him. He took down his hood and uncovered his face to breath. He ended up unzipping and tossing his jacket next to him on the seat. It was warmer in here by far and smelled strongly of herbal and cigarette smoke. He could go for a damn spliff right about now. One good thing about being back in the city was that he COULD get the things he used to enjoy, but the trouble was if he could trust those people anymore not to rat him out to Jethro.
He eyed the bar from his spot, watching as one guy got up to leave his empty glass, coat and a pack of cigarettes at the bar. He disappeared into the mens room. Helix looked around a bit to see if anyone could really spot him, noting no one was really paying much attention, he got up and casually walked over to the bar as if he were going to order a drink. Leaning slightly forward he barred his actions from any prying eyes (unless you were behind the bar) and with deft fingers, stole two or three cigarettes from the pack.
He wasn't a heavy smoker after all, this would last him the night and then some. Besides, he wasn't a fan of this particular blend of herbals anyway. He contemplated going through the guys pockets while he was at it...
