"I do. My mum was 100% Italian," she paused at this statement, wondering what it'd be like talking in Italian with her mum...it'd be like their secret language...Madison snapped out of her daze and smiled a little. "My dad's like...a little, but he figured in memory of my mum, he would teach me to speak her language." Realizing that that was a bit of a pointless story, her cheeks grew red and she shifted her gaze to the ground. She then grinned when he snapped a bit at the waiter and looked down at the table. "Grazie." Madison murmured after she ordered and he disappeared.
She looked up at Landon briefly and then tucked her hair back. "Oh, you don't have to..." Madison trailed off as he got up and draped it over her shoulders. The sudden warmth was a relief, she let out very small sigh and nodded. "Thank you. I appreciate it. Erm," she paused and chewed on her lip, "Siete molto dolce. E sembrate stasera bello." A mischievous smile crossed her lips as she waited to see what he would do with that foreign statement. She had said that he was sweet and that he looked handsome tonight. Merlin knew she couldn't say that in English and not get embarrassed.
As soon as her glass of pinot showed up, she smiled happily and swirled it in her glass elegantly. One could say Madison was a bit of a wine snob, but she tried not to show it off. "How was work, then?" Her lips pressed to the glass softly and took a small sip. She let out a small 'mm' and nodded while swirling her beverage again. As she looked up at Landon, a smile crossed her lips. He was an incredibly attractive and every single time she looked up at him, she was reminded of that.
It was actually very distracting and it was making her blush more and more. The old Madison was slowly coming back and she wasn't sure if she liked it. I mean, obviously she liked herself and the way Landon made her feel, but still.
