Sure, her pajamas may have been something along the lines of a footie jersey and shorts, but that was frumpy to her. Some may think it's cute, like Landon, but to her it was frumpy and probably ugly. So, the girl went along with his compliments and took in a breath as they entered the fresh air. It felt nice to be outside and around all the people. Madison swore she could get high off of fresh air alone, so it was a bit of a relief to not apparate. Then again it was a little chilly and it showed as a layer of goosebumps covered her skin and a shiver crawled up her spine.
Trying to hide it though, Madison held onto his arm a little tighter and looked around the street. "Sure! It sounds good." Her purse bounced on her hip as they walked and as the man greeted them, she smiled happily. "Ciao! Grazie mille, signore." she let slip out and gave a shy smile at Landon. Italian was one of the languages she'd learned as a child and it just naturally stuck. So what? A lot of people were fluent in Italian. Madison sat down and crossed her legs, her foot brushing his leg.
"I don't, but I like it already." she responded and chuckled. "So far, so good. But who knows, I could choke during dinner. That'd be awful. Unless you know the heimlich, then I feel better about this." Madison gave him a quick wink before drinking out of her water glass and then smiling at their waiter. "Posso avere una bottiglia del vostro pinot?" The younger man smiled and nodded before responding in Italian and looking her up and down, her eyes remaining on Landon, knowing the waiter would move on eventually.
She was usually aware of when males would do that, check her out and be 'typical blokes', and sometimes it would be...well a compliment, but tonight? Nah. Tonight she was completely focused on Landon and only him. They were getting dinner and she was completely focused on that. So, even though her asking for a bottle of pinot in Italian had impressed this handsome young man, her eyes never left Landon. Nope. She liked the fit bloke in front of her. Hell, it'd even made her forget about how chilly it was for a brief moment.
