"No you're fine." she responded and laughed lightly before gathering herself up a bit more. She tipped a bundle of bananas back in the bag and smiled as he helped pick up some apples. "I would have been mad if it was someone else." Madison smirked just a little and then couldn't help but chuckle when he asked what she was doing here. She was thinking the same thing about him, and much like Landon, she was creating scenarios in her head.
So to clear the air for him, she responded. "I live here." Madison tucked her hair back and shifted the bag. "I'm guessing you do too..." What were the odds? Just happening to move in next to each other and being neighbors...again. It was weird and...well obviously she didn't mind. Then again maybe he was just visiting. She hadn't seen him in a long time, so it was probably just a girl he was visiting. Girlfriend...guy friend? Family...Madison didn't want to be nosy though, and decided to let it be.
"I'm going to put this stuff inside and then we can like...get coffee or something? I'm dying for some caffeine." She smiled a little, proud of the leaps and bounds she'd made in conversation skills. No more stumbling over her mores and stuttering every so often. Nope. Madison was a new girl. Granted...she was just a little high at the moment, having smoked a small bowl before she left to grocery shop earlier.
