Sometimes Landon just forgets how not all girls were delicate, dainty, or girly as they appeared to be on the outside. He wasn't narrow-minded, he was well aware of different sexual preferences and how some things may not always be what they seem on the surface. He wasn't naive, but he had just been caught off guard by Madison's sudden curses in between words. Landon was no prude either as he could be as foul-mouthed as a dirty sailor could, but for some reason, he didn't think Madison could curse like that so strongly. "We all are assholes indeed," he laughed, agreeing. No one was perfectly a saint in this world.
He had also taken a notice at her black fingernails and he wasn't sure if she already had done that before. Her style was a little different now than what he used to see, from what he could remember. It seemed he had missed a lot over the years and there really was indeed a lot of catching up to. Honestly, he wasn't complaining about this new slightly dark look. It made her look more confident and putting herself out there rather than just shying away. He had also liked those parts of her, but there was no denying that some people change a little over time.
"Hmm, okay. I'll have to look for a good place to eat here. It's been a while, but not a lot of the city should have changed, right?" He chuckled, trying to think at the top of his head a good restaurant for them to go to on Thursday. "Shall I pick you up at the diner then? Wherever that may be. Unless you'll be back in your flat, then I can just take one step outside and knock on your door." He smiled, glad that things were shaping up to be so far so good.
