Madison laughed along with him and nodded before leaning back a little to look at him a bit better. "We can all be assholes. It's just something we all need to fucking embrace." Her tone was a bit harder and cheeks got pink when she realized she'd just cursed. Not loud, of course, but still. Cursing generally happened in private where only Jax could hear those such words.
None of her previous encounters were bad, per say, sure one of them didn't end well, but nothing to truly complain about. Madison had only dated one person in her life, as she had somewhat of an attachment issue as well. Losing her mum at such a young age, Madison found herself cutting all personal attachment off at the get-go. Don't put yourself in a vulnerable position, otherwise you'll just get hurt. That was what she told herself, so dating had...well it'd never really been in the equation. That and because of the fact she had social issues early on in life as well.
But, Madison had been working on all of it, trying to put herself out there, it just simply wasn't happening. So badly did she want to tell someone about her mum passing. She'd never told anyone before and for some reason Landon...no. Nope. She wouldn't allow herself to make excuses for someone to be "right".
"Oh thank Merlin." she responded and chuckled before shaking her head. When he called her adorable, however, she laughed and covered her face almost in embarrassment again. "Bloody hell." she grumbled through her fingers and then peeked at him over her black fingernails. "Wherever. I'm not a picky eater." Madison explained and eventually set her hands back down in a normal position. "I started eating a little meat recently, so that opens up more options." She'd been vegetarian, almost vegan, for most of her life that recently she chose to start on just a little meat. Madison was curious! Everyone was cracking bacon up into this huge deal, the girl had to investigate a little.
