Landon nodded quietly, listening to Madison take the topic further. It had to come out sooner or later as it was a big ol' something that happened between them. A significant and memorable one at that that had its way in creeping up at the back of Landon's mind even if he didn't want to think about it, especially the part she just ran off and him finding no one beside him. Well, he didn't really expected her to say, though honestly, he didn't know what to expect after that night.
"Yeah, it was fun." He agreed, remembering how one thing to led another. It just didn't end well, but he never really regretted it even though it was a messy point in his life. Sure, Ana was hot and gorgeous and she knew it. She wore such a skimpy dress when she visited him one night, and that night also ended up her leaving abruptly. But regardless, he had feeling he was going to be competing for attention with other guys if that went anywhere.
But then of course, the same could be said for Madison. She was still a pretty girl, probably not as noticed compared to Ana, but there really wasn't anything to dislike about her. Landon had two choices in his hands that time, but at the end of everything, even with Ana seducing him with her rack and legs, it was still Madison who stuck out. Maybe it was the sex, maybe it wasn't. He wasn't sure.
"No, no. It's not that awkward. I think we just need to um.. clear the air between us? We did talk about it, but.. I don't know.. I feel like we didn't really talk about it enough. I don't know, I don't know. Maybe it's just me and I really don't know what I'm saying." He paused and then sighed. "But you're right. If we're going to be neighbors again, we have to be on good terms. So, are we good?" He stuck a hand out for her to take, as if calling a truce.
