Madison was so wrapped up in her world that when Landon fell face first into the bed, she jumped a bit and then pressed her hand to her forehead. "Fuck, scared me half to death." she muttered and laughed before turning her head to look at him. Jax jumped off of Madison's stomach after being pet and meowed a few times before disappearing out of her room and into the living room. As he pulled her closer and buried his face into her hair, she closed her eyes slowly and smiled just a little.
"Thank you." she murmured and turned so that she was facing him as well, their noses inches apart. "You look tired." Madison continued and let her thumb brush across his cheek, just below Landon's eye, very gently. So, leaning forward, Madison kissed his lips very very softly. It was a slow, short peck on his lips. Nothing incredibly intimate or romantic, but just enough. As soon as she pulled away, she smiled a little and gently nudged him so that he was on his back again.
Wrapping one of her legs around his, Madison wrapped her arm around his mid section and buried her head into his shoulder. "You smell really...well aside from the puke," She laughed, "you smelled nice before. We'll put it that way. I always liked your cologne." Madison continued on and aimlessly rubbed her thumb across his chest. Her eyes were starting to feel heavier and heavier, the sound of his heart beating and the rise and fall of his chest were making it even harder to stay awake.
In that moment? Madison felt content. She was happy. Comfortable. It just felt right. It was the weirdest feeling, but she loved it.
