Cycle 002: Crows Landing Directory
Eventually this will have images where there are supposed to be some. Blank spaces are not images waiting to load, they are placeholders to even out the layout. I recruited my husband to help me make the map at the top link to their entries below. And they do! Keep in mind that there are things below NOT on the map (like residences). There are arrows down the right hand to bring you back to the top! ♥ Ari
Regency Meadows, Baker St.
Regency Meadows offers one, two, and three bedroom apartments. The rent here is higher, but the standard of living is much better when compared to Black Gate Apartments or the mobile home park.
Tenants can enjoy the luxuries of an indoor pool (open from noon-sundown, no lifeguard on duty), laundry facilities (open 24 hours, coin operated), and recreation center which includes a basketball court, two tennis courts, two billiard tables, and a gym (which has a total body machine, an elliptical, and two stationary bikes). The rec center is open from 10am-8pm Monday-Friday, from 11am-6pm on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays.
Tenants are required to keep clean residences as per the lease agreement. Absolutely no pets are allowed on the premises.
Black Gate offers one, two, and three bedroom apartments. The rent here is low and affordable, but the standard of living is much much lower when compared to Regency Meadows Apartments. Things here aren't always up to code.
Tenants can enjoy the luxuries of a laundry facility [open 24 hours, coin operated, three washers (one the coin tray sticks, one works perfectly, and the third likes to shut off mid-cycle, any cycle), and three dryers (one is perpetually broken, one does the shittiest drying job ever, and the other one works 95% of the time)], a maintenance crew that takes forever to fix anything, and a landlord that seems to be MIA more often than not.
Pets are allowed. Pet deposit is completely dependent on the type of pet (higher for cats than dogs.) Cockroaches and rodents aren't considered pets, and can be found in many of the apartments. These buildings have been around for quite a while.
Out of the Woods Mobile Homes, Bradshaw Ave. & Salmon
The resident trailer park. While it's not as nice as Regency Meadows or many of the Northern Crows Landing residences, it could fair much worse. Residents can rent an existing unit or move their own into a vacant lot. Rent is reasonable. Residents are responsible for mowing their own lawn (if applicable) and keeping their lots clean.
Living here, expect sirens and flashing lights at odd hours of the morning. You'll become accustomed to it if you live here long enough. Pets are allowed. Pet deposits are only required if you are moving into an existing unit, they are not required for those in a unit they personally own.
Pine Bottom Wetlands is a diverse ecosystem that is full of life! A home to many animals, invertebrates, fish, fungi, and quite attractive to birds (good place to spot herons and other water birds).
It dries out in the summers, but the rest of the year it's pretty marshy. There are still a lot of bugs and insects during the summer months.
In the winter it can get frosted or iced over, but it's never cold enough to solidify completely.
Exploring the Wetlands is completely at a person's own risk, and signage posted around the perimeter reflect that.
Local rumors state that there are dead bodies in Pine Bottom Wetlands that have never been found. There is no evidence to prove the theory either direction.
The O'Neill Mortuary & Crematorium (also known as the Funeral Home) is not just a place to take care of the dearly departed. It doubles as Bryant's residence.
There are no headstone rules here. This cemetery has been around since the town was founded. Visiting hours are from sunrise to sunset (unless arrangements have been made through the caretaker or city officials).
Crow's Landing's only Catholic Church, St. Joseph's was built in the late 1800s. There have been two sets of renovations done on the church. Once in the 1940s after a fire took out two thirds of the ground floor, and once again in the 1980s to restore chipped paint, broken windows, and structural weaknesses.
Masses are held Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings with additional masses held during various Catholic holidays as deemed appropriate by the church.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
Crows Landing Stake consists of the only three Wards that attend this LDS Church. The closest LDS temple is in Medford. This particular LDS church is the newest of the church buildings, having only been built in the 1970s.
Church meetings are held on Sundays. They consist of Young Womens/Young Mens/Priesthood/Relief Society, Sunday School, and Sacrament, and last three hours each.
The First Ward meets from 8am-11am. The Second Ward meets from 9am-12pm. And the Third Ward meets from 10am-1pm.
Presbyterian Church
The only Protestant church in town, built shortly after the Catholic Church. Worship times are throughout the day on Sundays.
Crows Landing Elementary School
School-aged children in Kindergarten through 8th grade will find themselves attending Crows Landing Elementary School. School hours are from 8am until 2:30pm. Kindergarten is full day.
Home of the Lancers and boasting the amazing colors of purple and white, Crows Landing High school is attended by those in 9th through 12th grade. Most of the teachers teach more than one grade, if not all grades due to the small population size of the city. (So those with Mr. Bennett for World History their freshman year can plan to see him for US History as well!) School runs from 8am to 3:30pm.
Employees: Jon Bennett (History Teacher, Track Coach), Hunter Sommer (Volunteer Assistant Girls' Basketball Coach), Ethan Fox (Art Teacher)
St. Joseph's Catholic School
The only K-12 private school in Crows Landing. Students are expected to wear uniforms. School runs from 8am to 3:30pm. Kindergarten is full day.

**PLEASE NOTE** Plotmaster posts mark day changes, and are the ONLY place to interact with Samuel Belli, the store owner. Please do NOT approach TS for private scenes. Thank you!
Rumor has it that there's a secret government testing facility in the woods. And while that may be true, no one ventures out to investigate the validity. Some are wary of the "creature" in the woods. Others worry they will disappear as more rumors claim. Whatever is down the unmarked road into the forest, it's a mystery to most of Crows Landing.
Being a rural town hospital, this hospital is not equipped with much state-of-the-art equipment as their urban counterparts would. If an injury or condition is out of their hands, chances are the patient will be Med-Evaced to the nearest hospital that can handle the situation. The emergency room is 24 hours. The clinic side is usually closed by 6pm. Visiting hours end at 9pm.
Saturdays and Sundays the depot is closed. No buses are scheduled to arrive during closed hours.
Closed hours are utilized for cleaning the premises, restocking vending machines, and employee breaks.
Market & Bakery
The local grocery store tends to stock local goods as much as possible as it's easier to get things locally. They do receive deliveries on Tuesdays and Fridays from out of town, and tend to carry most major brands (except Twinkies, Hostess went bankrupt).
Everything in the bakery is baked that day and discounted the next day for quick sale.
One of the few places in town that is open 24 hours. There is always an attendant on duty because Oregon law prohibits patrons from pumping their own gas.
They don't sell many convenience items besides automotive fluids, tools, and gas cans.
When on the premises, Avery Weston is the resident mechanic and is capable of doing minor car repairs.
Vic's Diner only rarely has competition for best restaurant in town, because aside from the Brass Key, it is usually the only restaurant in town. Serving typical diner food along with several beers on tap, Vic's is highly unremarkable in any way.
Come for the surly waitresses, stay for the greasy food! At least it's cheap!
Showtimes at the theater vary depending on the movie. The theater opens at 11am. Ticket booth and lobby close at 11pm.
General concessions are available at typical movie theater pricing.
There is also a small arcade to entertain during waiting periods. The staff is not responsible for money lost in the arcade machines or coin changer.
Storage Rental
Storage units run from small to large. Access to storage is controlled by locked gating with a keypad (customers create their own PIN to open the gate).
Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm. Patrons can access their units at any time.
Costs: Small unit: $40/month Medium unit: $75/month Large unit: $95/month
Climate controlled units are few and far between and cost $10 extra depending on size.
Rooms are usually ready after 1pm, though check in time may be delayed if a guest's room isn't prepared.
Check out time is 12pm.
The motel offers rooms with 1 King bed, 1 or 2 Queen beds, and 1 or 2 Double beds.
Property amenities include indoor pool, pet-friendly accommodations, extended stays, free parking(to include larger vehicles.
Room amenities include free high-speed wireless internet, microwave and refrigerator,, cable television, iron and ironing board, coffeemaker, hairdryer, wake-up calls, clock radio, and wheelchair-accessible rooms.
Aimed toward working parents that can't stay at home with their children, the daycare runs from 7am until 8pm. Arrangements can be made to watch a child after hours, usually at a slightly extra cost. Cost varies depending on the child (how often they are in the Daycare's care, etc).
Video Store
You will not find a Redbox in this town. Crows Landing still has a video rental store.
Carrying the latest in DVD and Blu-Ray releases, this is your one stop shop for television entertainment! There is also a video game section for the gamers of Crows Landing. And luck would have it, there are still available VHS tapes for the nostalgic (or behind the times) patron!
Catering to the need of people too lazy to hit up the market for things, this convenience store carries some groceries, toiletries, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, tobacco products, and newspapers. They also have lottery ticket services, money order services, and wire transfer services.
If you are in need of legal services, Sue Foster is the lady to contact. Her most prestigious clients are the York Family.
Her services include the areas of Personal Injury, Bankruptcy, Business Law, Real Estate Law, Estate Planning & Wills, Immigration & Naturalization Law, and Workers Compensation.
If you are needing assistance with accounting and bookkeeping or need a tax consult or help preparing your taxes, Eden is the lady you want to talk to.
Her most prestigious clients are the York Family.

Phone Company
They are in charge of issuing the whopping ONE phone number per character (or family if characters are all in the same residence). This one phone number is either a landline or a mobile (or a landline forwarded to a mobile). There will not be multiple phone numbers per character.
All phone numbers have a real Oregon area code (or toll free 800 number like the Phone Company does), but the last 7 digits of ALL numbers have been randomly chosen. Any connection to any REAL phone numbers is purely coincidental, and no one should be trying to actually CALL these numbers. Calls to the phone company can be directed to a GM
