8:37 - Ethan and Casper
Ethan didn't know what Casper was up to, but he was a sucker for her and he'd let her get away with murder if she wanted to. His jaw had dropped when he'd seen her in that get up. It was strange. She was gorgeous, but not in a Casper way. It wasn't her. It left him unsettled in a way he hadn't expected. Why didn't he find her more attractive now that she was totally normal? When she'd covered the tattoos and put on the makeup, something about her didn't seem real.
Ethan couldn't understand why he was so uncomfortable with this until he realized that this was all a lie. He'd have rather brought Casper as she was. Not as she was pretending to be. He was wearing a nice grey suit and had just extricated himself from his mother's flurry of introductions to several eligible ladies in town. His cane was in his hand as he limped over to Casper, spotting her hurrying towards him.
"Rebecca...what's wrong?" he looked concerned. He wasn't comfortable with this charade and he was even less so now.
