She huffed a little laugh and smirked. Sometimes she forgot just what it was that Marcus did for a living. That he had a job. He was just a lion, she figured, a predator on the prowl for his next piece. She wondered who it was now. Hadn't he gotten through most of the town? Lord knew she had. She took a drink from her glass after she lowered it from her cheek and watched Marcus walk back.
"Thanks." She took the ice pack and then chuckled, giving him a grateful look. Lifting it and setting it to her cheek, she sighed. Oh that was better. "How do you get your hair like that? I'm betting lots of people love to tug on it." Might as well flirt. She needed to pass some time.
