While the little town of Crows Landing could certainly be accused of lying dormant, time still had a way of pressing onward. The damp, grey winter grew colder as the days passed. Occasionally the rain would be intermingled with small snow flurries, though it never seemed to stick enough to be counted as inches. Puddles would ice over in the night, creating slick roads and slushy walking conditions. All in all, it was still very typical for the area. Cold and very wet. At least there were no major storms or power outages on the horizon! |
