"An excellent idea! Gin... and tonic," Sebastian replied, without too much hesitation, and completely unabashed. While he did like strong drinks, he never drank hard liquor unadulterated in some fashion, and wouldn't touch beer at all. Some nights he went after more sugary or fruity cocktails, but with the abundance of candy about -- even if he wasn't specifically intending to overindulge -- he thought it best to show some restraint in his choice of drink.
He also didn't question Bryant's offer of buying. If the good doctor wanted to stand a round, then by all means, he should be allowed to. Sebastian suspected that the man's earnings weren't all that meager. After all, he was a specialist, and specialists could charge what they like, couldn't they? Not that he'd ever asked, of course. The price he paid for Bryant's services had always seemed fair, but that might be due to loyalty. After all, he'd been a regular customer for years. For all he knew, he got a discount. It would be terribly improper to bring up salaries and the like in mixed company, anyway.
Pulling down the surgeon's mask, Sebastian chuckled again, glancing around at his other guests to make sure all was well before flashing a grateful smile at Bryant for volunteering to fetch drinks. Sebastian's teeth looked capped; quite human. But nearly everything that was human about him -- the hair, the teeth, the lips, the cornflower blue eyes, as well as other mammalian bits further south -- all peeled away when he shed the suit. It would have been quite a party trick, but stripping down naked in mixed company was even ruder than bringing up salaries. He gave Rachel a wink, politely ignoring the fact that Bryant had said her name twice, assuming that was a stutter. "Couldn't ask... for a better skeleton. Ahehe."
