Susie
Susie was listless. She was pleased that Robert was taking charge. He was good at things like that. She couldn't shake the feeling in the pit of her stomach, the dark clenched feeling, that her sister was gone. She hadn't seen her. Hadn't heard anything from anyone. She would have just curled up into a ball in the sand and cried if she hadn't felt like it would stress Robert out too much to have a completely broken down fiancee. She didn't feel like she could cry on Eden's shoulder; for all the woman was Robert's assistant, she felt like she barely knew her.
Delaney was missing. Delaney was who she would have cried to about something like this.
So she chose being semi-catatonic instead. She'd go off and cry on her own time, when it was safe not to distress Robert any more than she already was.
