Location Point #2 To: Beach wanderers/island circumnavigators/explorer types! When: Possibly found on June 7th, between mid-afternoon and dark (so ~4pm to 7pm, as visibility is hurt after sunset), or on June 8th. By the time this location point is found, the Mare Crisium will be completely vanished from the horizon, without so much as a trace. No debris will remain visible in the water, due to the strong currents.) What: Another location point that you can reference in your scenes. Signs of... death! Another boat! Holy crap, you guys are boat-rich. Please comment below letting us know if you move or alter anything at this site, so that this description can be changed. On the opposite side of the island from the lifeboat's landing spot lies the obvious remains of a campsite. A private yacht is partially buried in sand. It was on the small side, as far as yachts went. Once, the boat had been able to sleep ten comfortably, but the hull has been damaged and it is no longer seaworthy. It is possible to access the yacht from the exposed top and climb down into it, though a flashlight is required for interior investigation, and a small body frame helps (anyone over 6' in height will find doing this incredibly cramped, claustrophobic, and uncomfortable, those under 5'5" would actually be able to find comfortable sleeping/hiding places inside, though the whole thing can use a good cleaning). None of the electronic systems inside are functioning, and there are signs of deliberate tampering of the navigational system (it looks like someone took something heavy to the control panel at some point). Any signs that the yacht was deliberately pulled up onto the shore have long-since been erased, but it is likely.
Further up the beach, but still close to the yacht, there is the remains of a campsite. A makeshift fire pit, some debris in the form of empty canned goods, and a bare spot/indentations on the ground where something was resting until very recently. A keen camping eye will be able to tell that a four-man tent was hastily broken down and removed within the last couple of days. Others will just note that the area seems oddly disturbed.
Most notable about the campsite are the remains of a human person, buried up to its neck, further inland from the tent. The head has been picked clean of flesh by carrion eaters, leaving only a sun-bleached, grimacing skull still attached to the buried body. The skull is facing inland, towards a cave surrounded by greenery. There are two other suspicious mounds near the skull, though no other remains are visible.
Modnote: This is the easiest point from which to access the freshwater pool/waterfall, so adventurous souls who find this camp and then decide they want to turn in the direction the skull is looking and take a nature walk will stumble on the island's most pleasant picnicking spot. Alternatively, if Eli guides anyone to the falls, they'll be passing this point.
