Okay, let's try this... 1. A permanent account for fandomdirectory or meta_roundup. That's something I'd wanted for ages, but somehow my having money to spare and squeaky's having an account sale never coincided. Now, with a sale taking place on Friday, Obi-Wishlist Kenobi is my only hope.
2. A digital camera, with the necessary equipment to get the piccies on my harddrive. It can be used, it can be old, it certainly doesn't have to be fancy. It just has to work, be easy to use for someone who knows next to nothing about digital cameras (or come with a good manual), and be able to take pictures of stuff like the posters on my wall or the CDs I want to sell. Or, uh, my face oh noes. Yay! littleblackbow and jazzymegster both volunteered to give me their old ones. We'll sort it out. :DDD
3. New readers on my Delicious accounts (explanation), or cool people to add to my network... I feel like I'm missing a lot. And I guess I'm either too shy or too stupid to advertise my accounts in a proper fashion...
4. A new job. Like, without having to take incoming phone calls or deal with customers, but with stuff like Excel tables and electronic data processing and creating blank forms and with long lists to go through and all this crap that other people find boring and repetitive but that I love doing. And not just temporary, and the colleagues shouldn't treat you like shit. I also want a pony. (Figure of speech; I don't really care that much for ponies.) ... yeah, I just got the phone call. I CAN HAS JOB. *blinks*
5. Any and all issues of the BAMBOO fanzine (except #1 and #2 which I managed to get on eBay as reprints a few weeks ago). I don't care if they're used, and I'd also happily take scans if you want to keep the originals (and who'd blame you?) - being somehow able to read them would be enough to make me happy!
7. This might sound a bit odd, but... Private Messages (IJ offers that option here, for free - all you need is typing my username into the empty "To:" field, unless you already have me friended, which means you can choose my name from the drop-down list). Even if they're from strangers. Or especially then. I feel a bit, hm, down and disconnected at the moment (no need to go into details), and whenever I see that "You have a new private message" pop-up, it makes me smile. It's a bit like getting an unexpected letter. What you write is totally up to you - feel free to peruse my journal for topics if needed, ramble and philosophize, or just send your favourite cat macro... really, it's fine. (Note: Please signal in some way whether you'd like me to write back, or if you prefer just to leave the message at my virtual doorstep. Thing is, I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes by unintentionally ignoring them, and at the moment I do not trust my skills of successful message interpretation/social online interaction.)
I'm living in Germany, btw. If you need some additional info, you can contact me via das_dingsi @ insanejournal dot com.
