He was torn between the anger that suddenly surged up at this guy who seemed to have assumed so much about him--just like everyone else, who assumed that life was perfect for him, Sirius Black, the ultimate--and the sudden pleas of Andromeda as they popped up on his screen.
Wait. There was something for her to tell him? They.. wait, she was actually an item with this guy? And she hadn't told him? She had--had she kissed him? And if so, how could she not tell him?? Had he been so terrible of a cousin?
Abandoning the public chat for now, he clicked carefully on the private chat and gave short, terse responses. He really had no idea what to say to this.
[private chat - Andromeda and Sirius]</center> blackdoesitbest: Why didn't you tell me? blackdoesitbest: Why haven't I even heard about him? blackdoesitbest: I didn't even know you liked him! blackdoesitbest: Did I do something wrong? Are you mad at me?
It was about that time that Danielle signed in, and Sirius sighed a very small sigh. More complications, but at least this one was welcome. He hadn't talked to her since the motorbike escapade, and he wasn't entirely sure how that had gone over. It was clear, to him at least, that he liked her. A lot. But he'd had his fair share of pain to inflict, and most of it he had inflicted upon her. He had to understand if she didn't want anything to do with him.
[private chat - Danielle] blackdoesitbest: Sorry about that. blackdoesitbest: How are you?
Even his normal sarcastic humor, bordering on lecherous, wasn't in tune as he greeted her. No touch of arrogance. He really needed to get ahold of himself. But.. how could Andromeda not tell him?
