She wanted to scream in surprise when Romeo suddenly jumped up and slammed his head against the bed, but thankfully she restrained herself, instead clapping her hands over her mouth in surprise.
"Oh my gosh! Romeo, are you okay?" she whispered, leaning down to see him at a better angle. But he began stuttering out words, words that made her feel utterly stupid for coming up to see him. She shouldn't have come up. She should have just gone back to bed and dealt with the stupid dreams instead of coming up here like a child. She looked down, her face glowing pink with embarrassment.
"I'm all right," she said, and then she suddenly shook her head. "I mean, I'm not all right. I'm sort of... both." She let out a frustrated sigh. "I don't know!"
Without even thinking, she sat down on the edge of Romeo's bed, her head hanging miserably as she tried to think of a way to explain herself properly. She was barely on the bed for three seconds before she realized what she had just done and jumped up. "I-I'm sorry!" she frantically whispered. "I shouldn't have bothered you. It's just that I had a lot of things on my mind and I couldn't sleep because of it. I can leave if you want."
