Who: Romeo and Andromeda Where: Romeo's dorm. Why: Because Katie's ideas are just so great that we have to steal them and reuse them.
Andromeda's night after her encounter Ted was not the greatest. The other girls in her dorm stared at her and her tear-stained face in confusion and curiosity. As quickly as she could, she had gathered her shower things and ducked into the bathroom, where she hid from her roommates' prying eyes. She stayed in the showers for an extra hour, letting the scalding hot water soak her porcelain skin. She only went into the dormitory when she was absolutely certain that everyone was in bed and snoring. Her mind still racing, she tried to go to sleep...
Not an hour later did she wake up gasping for air. It took her a few minutes to realize that the gasping was actually sobbing and that her cheeks were covered in tears. She calmed herself down, wiping away the tears with the neck of her cotton nightgown. The nightmare had seemed so real! The details were starting to slip away, but she replayed the horrific dream in her head, wondering to herself it was really a dream at all.
She sat in the Great Hall. She was getting ready to tuck into some chocolate chip pancakes when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She smiled and said, "Romeo!" before turning around to be caught in the arms of Ted Tonks. "Oh, sorry..." she said, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson. "I thought you'd be Romeo." But he wasn't paying attention to her. He held her tight and stared at her, saying something over and over again...
"I love you, I love you..."
He leaned in and kissed her hard, his hands locking around her. Even if she had wanted to stop him, she couldn't have. But then he was ripped away from her, thrown across the Great Hall. An infuriated Sirius glared at Andromeda from across the room, and a terrifying version of Romeo stood before her. He was covered in blood-- Ted's blood-- and he practically bared his teeth at her.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
She involuntarily shuddered at the last part. Romeo would never and could never kill a man, could he? Not her sweet, sensitive Romeo... Maybe that's what made it even more terrifying... But she knew now what she needed to do-- she need to see Romeo. Without a second thought, she silently crawled out of bed and tiptoed her way out of Ravenclaw Tower and to Gryffindor Tower by the light of her wand. She muttered the password that Sirius had provided her with to a very tired Fat Lady and made her way up to what she hoped was the boys' dormitories. She peeked into room after room until she finally spied Romeo sleeping in his crimson four-poster.
"Romeo?" she whispered. She reached out to gently tap him on the shoulder, not wanting to startle him. "Romeo?"
