Well now she just felt bloody awful. She definitely hadn't meant to put Frankie on the spot.. Well no, okay, maybe she had. But Frankie was the one who had sought advice from Cassidy! Honestly! What did she know about Denny or relationships or men at all? She hadn't ever had a real boyfriend! Sure, she talked big, but.. all she really had was Remus, and everybody knew they were just best friends.
Were just best friends, she corrected herself silently, the blush coming back to her cheeks, much to her own disgust. Since when was she the type of elegant female who blushed? Since she started having feelings for boys, apparently.
As Frankie told her story, just as briefly as she had before, Cassidy gave a little shrug of the shoulders as if to say 'What do you want me to do?' After all, Frankie was the one who had finally given up the story, not her. With a lighter sigh than she had heaved all day, she relaxed her shoulders and leaned back against the seat, fingers not gripping Remus' quite so tightly.
"I was in the process of figuring out why she punched him when you entered." Her voice sounded a little tense, as if she were still a little irritated at how unorthodox the entire thing was. She barely knew this girl.
