Lily J. Potter ([info]lovingsacrifice) wrote in [info]hogwarts_dawn,
To say the past few weeks had been stressful would be putting it mildly. On top of finding out she was pregnant, Lily had been helping Marlene with the poison victims, and putting in her normal time in the Greenhouses. She was ridiculously proud of the Mandrakes and how they didn't fuss at being used to help those who go petrified. Of course, with everything that had gone on, certain people were being a mite overprotective, and Lily knew she needed some space before she said or did something she might regret.

After doing her customary check and clean up of Greenhouse Three, Lily was heading back to the castle to check in with James before going to a little walk. She almost walked right past Remus without a second thought until he spoke, capturing her attention.

"Hello," she trilled in a happy tone. "Doing well, and certainly not thinking about chaining James to Sirius for a bit. And you? I'm glad to see you up and around."
