"You see, I have cured others and none of them offered to repay me in the same manner that you are implying. Therefore, had he found a cure, you could have said 'thank you' and leave it at that. Unless you expect others to show their appreciation."
From sitting to lying down, it was a short step and Regulus was happy to take it. "You talk as if I'm going to argue with that. I understand that you are wired to think like a self-sacrificing Gryffindor and it will take years of training to break that bad habit, but I'm perfectly all right with saying that I deserve rest and people need to leave me alone.
