"Seems like you are if you thought that I'd listen to Hermione rant about ... anything really," he said, chuckling. "Good thing that I don't have a middle name, then. I don't think she ever used it with Ron. Then again, she did tell us right from the start that we could have gotten killed 'or worse, expelled'! Pretty much set the tone of our relationship. Try to stay alive and don't get kicked out of school, not necessarily in that order."
Harry thought about his parents and how soon they'd be dealing with soiled nappies. "I'm glad to have my grown kids here. Even without all of the problems I might have had, I don't think I'm any good at anything that has a routine. I have a feeling I'd forget that nappies need to be changed more than once." He smiled. "Nonsense. Bill was a great cursebreaker at twenty-one, when I met him, and I'm sure so are you."
He shook his head. "I don't believe that for a second. Maybe you believed it, maybe that's the impression I gave you, but there's absolutely no way that I wouldn't have come for you first. I'll do it now, but I still can't be in three places at once and sometimes I won't get to you in time, and that means that you three- everyone here needs to be prepared."
Harry didn't hesitate at the question. "Yes. I know what I can, but I also know what the people here can do. More than that, I refuse to give up. We will fix this. Look at what Savannah did, getting people from the outside to answer us. Regulus is already experimenting with new antidotes. He will find that cure."
