Re: Peter/Remus
Peter snorted. "You do know that the only thing I got from that is that they are prehistoric chickens. I don't know if they are chickens or prehistoric, but that's all they will be called now." He grinned. "But you're right, we can't die. Who'll take care of Sirius and James? Problems or not, we're the ones who remind them to be cautious."
He shrugged. "Maybe, but it's not normal, Moony. We shouldn't be this good at war, and I know that a few months here can't change who we are, but it's not who we should be as individuals and not just as friends. I don't know what the solution is, because my brain tells me that we shouldn't be fighting all the time, but when the fight comes I'm unable to stay out of it."
He smiled. "Or maybe you'll give him even more motivation. You can't predict life, but you can't make your decision to avoid being a bother, but we can probably end this conversation and get some rest. I'll just stay here with you a little longer." He'd stay until Remus fell asleep, or both of them.
