Re: Fenrir/Remus
"Oh, Merlin! I hope not! Puberty was bad enough the first time around." A rasp of laughter bubbled up, juxtaposed with Remus' look of abject horror that managed to leave him wide-eyed for just a moment before his eyelids felt heavy again.
Nodding, he listened quietly as the other werewolf explained what had happened to him. "Yeah, I get that. Parties can be a bit overwhelming, even with the charms to mitigate things, sometimes." He huffed softly. "The screaming, shouting, and screeching don't help," he commented drily. Only his previous experience let him keep his head amid all that noise. Another thought had him frowning as he tried to glance unsuccessfully at where his shoulder was bandaged, the silvery scars of his first werewolf bite peaking around the edges. "You know, I haven't thought to ask yet, how my own wound is healing. Bird tried to perch on my shoulder bone by going through the muscle to get at it. I'll have to talk to Marlene or Regulus the next time they come by," he finished with a half-hearted shrug.
"I'm glad you're okay, though. And your friend, Parvati, that comes to help you at the Full? I remember seeing her sister during it all. But, I didn't see her. She's not in one of these other beds, is she?" Remus could make out the scents and sounds nearest him, but Regulus had, unfortunately, been right about his ability to concentrate and, where he would normally know the occupants of the entire ward, it was too much effort to focus on much past the beds to either side of him.
