Re: Peter/Remus
"Regulus came to see me that many times?" Remus didn't know why he was surprised, but he was. Maybe because it was one thing to know his friends would always be there and another to know the person he was falling in love with cared so much in return. No wonder Regulus hadn't seemed as enthusiastic as he could have about scolding Remus for his Gryffindor foolishness, either. Smiling softly he carefully shrugged one shoulder, though it was a shallow gesture. "Anyway, we are perfect Gryffindors, which obviously means we weren't paying attention to our own well-being instead of throwing ourselves at trouble like old friends."
Which, admittedly, they kind of were.
"Prat!" With most anyone else, Remus probably would have taken offence, but Peter just got a tired laugh. But, he sobered quickly enough. "We'll have our second chance. Regulus said he'll find a cure and he will." It was really as simple as that. "He may not be a Gryffindor, but he'll work himself to exhaustion to save us if he has to. Our silver-lining can be that we got to lay around and nap while everyone else dealt with the clean-up," he offered with an attempt at even his not-quite-there smirk.
