Remus chuckled. "Pretty sure being out there saving the day is what got us stuck in here," he pointed out. Not that any of them would have done any differently had they known this would be the outcome. It had seemed all too instinctive for the four of them to fall into a protective line to cover the rest of the group's escape.
A soft huff of laughter passed his still-dry lips. "Stealing my line, are you? But, I'm glad the brunt of this hasn't hit you. If bed rest helps, do it." Hypocrisy, table for one. But, Remus didn't care. It was too innate to his nature to look after his friends first, himself last. "And we're not going to die. They'll find a cure and we'll be back to acting like the brash idiots we are in no time."
