The only reason he still wasn't feeling the full impact was that Marlene ordered bed rest before they even figured out about the poison.
"I'm all right," he said. "The scratch wasn't as deep, which is why they think I'm doing better." He lowered his voice. "I think the bed rest is actually helping, when I start moving too much then I get tired. Not that Marlene will let me. She's worse than McGonagall with the way she looks at you. The scratch is cured though. So I might die, but I'm not scared. Silver lining, right?" he teased.
