Re: Regulus/Remus
"One must always plan for the possibility. Besides, knowing that there's a room there means that we still choose to be together every night." He had always planned to have separate bedrooms with his wife, for very different reasons, but like the idea that they weren't being forced together. "We can keep those books in the office. I still want to do that in our areas. Besides, there are no laws about which books you can have. It's the beauty of having abolished all previous laws," he said with a grin.
"I really should be going." Despite the words, he sat at the edge of the bed, looking at Remus. "I'll make it up to you when this is over. Pretty sure the minister can't count this as sick days and I'll have so much overtime to need vacation," he said, joking about a future that he would make happen, regardless of the odds. "Severus is probably cursing all gods that no one is as brilliant as he is, but that just means that I'll have to work harder to ensure he survive so I can show off my skill."
He brought Remus' hand to his lips. "I'll see what I can do about potions for your fever, but it might be best to let it run its course. It might just slow it down enough for us."
