"You do that. Being the Minister's son should have some uses and this is one of those times when you should use that privilege," he said, with a pout that was probably not as formidable with all the gauze on his face.

Scorpius hinted a smile at the memory. "No one told her that arguing with the Hat ensures that you end up in Gryffindor. No one else would argue. Although I'm not sure that you are less of a Gryffindor. You can call it a tie." They were just different in the way they showed their being Gryffindors. "I won't argue with her. Or anyone else who wants to do research."

He snorted. "All right, that's true too. He wouldn't have the chance to tell those awesome, albeit incredible stories if he had no scars." He wasn't sure that anyone would be able to deal with quite these many scars. "Not sure anyone is about to argue with the burnt boy, but thanks for the offer. So how are you? Sitting here with nothing to do with Al being sick? Not really your thing."
