"I was commenting about people not wanting to take charge. Even Snape, who would be the logical choice doesn't want to deal with make decisions. He'll just complain when I make decisions he doesn't like," he said with the tiniest of smiles. He looked forward to that. "Trust me. I firmly believe that we're all fucked up. Not a single one of us is normal." He shook his head. "I don't plan on contacting them until we are solid, but here's the problem with that. The moment we go to Gringotts, they'll know, but we need to go to Gringotts to get the money to run a school and we can't get the new students if we don't have the resources. We won't have the luxury to wait until we're set up, because we need to expose ourselves to set up."
Harry let it go about the patrol and the rules. It didn't really matter anymore. Instead he snorted. "Nope, no reason for the benefit of the doubt in this case. Pretty sure that it's all my doing in this particular case. I would have had a kid in a year or so if I had stayed home. That's wilder than coming here."
He nodded. "That's what I mean. You also lived in the middle of nowhere, so he must have seen you somewhere, or he must have known your family. Something put him in your path or vice versa." He rolled his eyes. "I saw the way Bellatrix talked to him, bossed him around and generally thought that he was an idiot. It wasn't even because he was a werewolf, but because she thought he was stupid. It takes a lot of self-delusion to think that you will bring down the Dark Lord and take over." Dumbledore could have done it. Harry could have done it if he had wanted. Luckily for the wizarding world, he hadn't.
