Re: Padma and Harry
"That sounds-" He grinned. "I should be more upset about what you said bu really? I've been bored, and this certainly spices things up. Besides, were you expecting us to do anything less than desperate when your own sister sees the end of our civilization?" He was pretty sure that if anyone could have convince Padma to act like a Gryffindor, it would have been Parvati. "Look, I get that it's impossible to find something, but we've done impossible before and I trust you to find out what we were doing, then you can tell me where I need to go and what I need to slay and we all have some fun."
He snorted. "Pretty sure that the report is... less than accurate. It was us and a bunch of Death Eaters and I can assure you that I didn't tell you half of what happened. I can't really imagine that anyone did." He probably should feel guilty about it considering that he worked for the Ministry, but at that point they still claimed that he was making things up. He was not going to give them information. "You're saying a lot of words, Padma, but is there a spell to find it? If not, you need to create it and until then, we do the investigation the old fashioned way, not because I don't trust you, but because we don't know what's going to pan out."
He couldn't plan a birthday to save his life, but this he could do. "Do we have a way to look for it other that searching the school? Because we've seen that the house-elves don't always share information with us. If not, again we're back to old fashioned searches and with the limited numbers we have, I'd start outside."
