Re: Savannah/Jamie
Savannah let go long enough to hug him. "That's great, Jamie." She pulled back, smiling brightly at him. "Not good still looks really good on you. You seem more at peace with yourself, and I'm sure it's not perfect, but you are talking and that's what matters." She didn't think that a few days could fix a lifetime of hurt, but it was a stat, a very good start.
"That's good too." Savannah didn't know what had caused the change, but she had a feeling that looking too much into that might not be good for Jamie's mood, so she let it go. "That sounds like him. He does the protecting."
She raised a finger. "No, you're not doing that. You're not creating a whole new holiday so you can take on another job to protect him. I don't want the Harry Potter Day of the last few years. I want the one that my Mum used to talk about. On the 31st of July, everything closed and witches and wizards would party all day long. No speeches, no Ministry, they didn't even worry about the Statute of Secrecy. They'd go with their robes in the Muggle world. I'm not suggesting the last part, but the rest? Totally."
