Savannah/Jamie
Savannah knew that people would have lots to talk about. She didn't think she had much to contribute, no matter what Mr. Potter had said. No one had listened to her when she'd mentioned how stupid those experiments were and why, and if they didn't care about that, she wasn't sure that there was anything else that she could add in the field, but there was one she could impact.
Grabbing Jamie's arm, she walked away from where the others were. "Did you see that? Now, that is why we need his birthday as a holiday. He talks and people listen. He talks and says how much he doesn't know and he still makes you feel like he's in control of the situation. He talks and no one talks about rules and regulation, they just do what he says."
She sighed. "We need this, but I agree that we can't have him paraded around like some animal at the zoo. People used to celebrate his birthday without him around, so why not do that? No speeches, no plans, nothing but a day off for everyone and yes, maybe even the occasional party, except that now when people dress up as him, it's probably his father and his son who look like him and not random people who've never met him."
