RP: Remus, Sirius, James Who: Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, James Potter When: Friday, 26 February, 2021 - late afternoon, near sunset Where: Quidditch Pitch What: The Marauders wait for the Full Moon
Remus had wandered out to the Pitch early, much earlier than he needed to be headed out. But, with sunset at half past five and no appetite for dinner with what was coming, he didn't see an reason why he couldn't spend a few hours out there letting the restlessness out in a way that wouldn't get someone else hurt. Just being out there, wind in his hair, wide open spaces, he felt better.
It was getting wearing, the calm facade of being to accept so many changes, the stress of trying to keep it together when their whole world had fallen apart. But, he knew he didn't have the luxury of temper tantrums or depressed rants. His friends needed his support, -- and guidance! -- their new little society needed support and direction and structure and a whole slew of things that make up the architecture of a cohesive society. There was research and planning and recon and any number of priorities that came ahead of Remus' struggles letting go of the anger he'd carried with him for a year and a half.
Stretching his arms above his head, he watched a thestral drift lazily over the dark smudge that was the Forest in the distance, becoming aware of his friends' approach from some way off. "You're early," he called out as they drew closer. "Sunset's not for an hour still, at least."
