"I bet Molly loved that," he said, sarcastically. He could just imagine both Ginny and Molly screaming at the top of their lungs for whatever consequence there was. "Then I'll say it again just to be clear: I hate prophecies. She sees the end of our civilization, she tells the Ministry and eventually that prophecy is used to create these fertility spells that cause the end of our civilization. Besides, the more you lot talk about spells that were already available, the more I'm convinced that there was a lot more going on and I don't like it one bit."
He smiled. "I know and I'm sure she does, but Voldemort in person could have shown interest and she'd have forgiven him and talked to him about random animals no one else knows. She's inhumanly kind." He shrugged. "I never said he was, but I still bet that there aren't that many books in those tents. And where the hell did the dragons go. We had two different reserves in the country."
He looked at Jamie. "And I've done plenty to deserve it?" he asked, knowing the answer, but apparently being masochist enough to want to hear the answer. "Nonsense, that's what every wizarding parent does, and my father wasn't Head Auror and I still got a broom on my first here." He grinned. "You should have had the map."
Harry sighed. "Maybe it was and I admit that when I found out that none of you were Aurors, I was disappointed, but this DMLE is not the Aurors. I'm not asking you to learn what we knew, because let's face it, if a Death Eater shows up, I'm not sending Draco, or even Fenrir who acts like some abandoned pup and not like the killer I knew. I'll go after them, bring along Ron, Hermione, Snape, Regulus. Hell, I wouldn't even send Sirius who's like an over-excited pup and hasn't learned to pay attention. So how about we do some time with Ron, because I think it's important that we all see what he's doing, that's why we're having the Muggle sessions now, but then we can spend some time together, just the two of us, so you get to see me fly with Savannah and we spend some time alone."
Harry was impressed by how Jamie's mind worked, much like he was always impressed by Ron's ability to strategize, right before he got bored and ignored things. "Sure, but if you feel that something is wrong, don't move. I'll get you out. Guess we can see if I can fly and carry you at the same time," he said with a grin. Snape would kill him if he knew what he was thinking, but then Snape should have known better than to teach him a spell that made him fly without a broom and not expect something crazy.
