"Of course he did. Leave it to George to fix a screaming match by creating more chaos," he said with a fond smile. "I guess it was our fault for not warning you sooner." Then again it sounded like they had done plenty of warning, and George was family. "No it wasn't the dark wizards. Parvati has mentioned her vision. That might have led us to do something reckless that brought about the very end she saw. I fucking hate prophecy in case I've never said it." The cursing was enough to show how serious he was.
Harry almost corrected Jamie, but then let it go. "She'd have taken anyone who showed any interest. She was always kind, even to people who weren't kind to her." He snorted. "So that's where we went wrong. Bill, Percy, Hermione, Luna, all smart people. We should have sent you to Charlie. I bet there was not a book in sight there."
He shrugged at the comment. "I guess but it was different with them. They were family even before I married your mother. It was weird to realize that they cared. With time, they stopped caring, but I was always different. Molly let me get away with murder to be honest. I don't think any of her kids would have been able to do some of the stuff I've done, even though she loves them unconditionally." He chuckled at the comment. "What else was I going to teach someone who's technically not even supposed to do magic outside of Hogwarts? And defensive spells have served me well. There are a few others I could teach you now. Also I'm not telling you to join them, but we could do some together. I want to do some aerial one with Savanna. I want to see if I can go head to head with her. However if it bothers you we can do private lessons. Just- don't bother with Scorpius. I'm done sitting in that office doing nothing. I'll be doing things, here with you or Ron and Hermione, Hogsmeade with your brother, training with Ron. People can message me if they want to meet. If I sit in that office reading what everyone else is doing, I'll go crazy. People know what to do; I don't have to babysit."
Harry shook his head. "Of course we couldn't just bury it under one tile. Too simple. It's probably not the same game since no one would know it, but any moves that get you there would do the trick I think. Why don't you do that since my chess skills aren't great and I'll see if I find something else?"
