"Now that- I guess it didn't count because it was your uncle." Harry had never been tempted to take something he couldn't even, even if he'd spent a small fortune for his broom, or at least it had felt like it. "It's why I agreed to join the Aurors, why I knew it was a matter of time before I became Head Auror with Robards becoming head of the DMLE, eventually head of the DMLE myself. We had to make sure that there weren't any more dark wizards."
He smiled at the mention of Luna. "She was always different. She had that reaction while being held captive in a dungeon. I wasn't so ...accepting when I could hear Bella torture Hermione. I don't think anyone is quite like her." Now that made perfect sense. "I might not like the books, but I know how many times Hermione reading something saved our arses, so that makes sense."
Harry chuckled. "I bet that I have a few tricks up my sleeve, even without the twenty something years of experience. If you really want to learn, we'll make time during the day, yeah? I was thinking of joining Ron with the training, maybe you can join as well."
He frowned thinking about it. "They never pranked me, they never tried anything with me. I guess even they had grown up with the myth of Harry Potter and then they met me," he said with a shrug. "Pretty sure Ginny decided that we'd get married when she saw my scar." They should have been more careful about that one, but it didn't matter now.
"Right, let's move this back so we can get a full view. Cast a lux for me, I want to show something and no, I can't teach you this spell, because it's not mine." He waited for Jamie to light the room and then he cast the spell that Snape had taught him, flying off from the counter. He didn't fly long before landing. "I've been dueling with Snape and he's been teaching me spells. The man is brilliant."
