Sirius just shook his head, not expecting her to understand. James and Remus were his family and he loved them fiercely and completely. Love didn't have to involve sex, and he couldn't imagine feeling the way he felt about them with anyone else. The Marauders were just special. It wasn't her fault she didn't know that.
He shrugged and headed down the corridor. He didn't think anyone had scouted out the divination classroom yet. It wasn't likely to have anything, but it could be fun to look.
"Peace is overrated." Sirius didn't like when things were quiet. He didn't like being alone. It was too much like being locked up. Forgotten. It gave him top much time to think. And remember.
"To each their own I say. Be ye homebody or gad about. Shall we see what's up the ladder?"
