RP: Theo and Draco Who: Theo and Draco When: Friday afternoon Where: Draco's room What: Checking in on his friend.
When he had first set out to find Draco after his conversation with Lucius in his journal, Theo really didn't know what to expect. Not to mention that finding Draco hadn't been easy even in a castle that was abnormally quiet. Few were around that day and he stayed far as he could from anyone as he passed through the corridors. He really wasn't in the mood to entertain much at the time and thankfully he hadn't the need to. Knowing Draco as well as he did, Theo knew he'd be out looking for Potter. That was a given. He knew Draco wasn't going to let go of something he had wanted for such a long time without a fight. That much he could understand, he never did either.
So they talked. He couldn't apologize for what he had done because he really didn't care. He hadn't done all that much, certainly not enough to cause what he had. If he had intended to maybe he'd feel worse or maybe not. He did however feel badly for what upset it had caused Draco. So he could at least apologize for that and had.
When he had closed his journal for the night and went to sleep Wednesday night, Theo had thought it was over. Potter quitting his job and taking off to do whatever it was he was going to do and leaving Draco behind hadn't been a thought he'd entertain. He hadn't pushed that hard really, although the push back was really something else. Regardless, it seemed too far fetched an outcome to even factor in.
And now it looked like he was in the running to be Minister. Which as irritating as that sequence of events was, he didn't mind paying up for what he had done. He did what he did and he'd deal with whatever he had to. So what? He could do the job. He'd do it a bit differently, like actually doing the job, he thought. Everyone complained they didn't want to do it, that there was nothing to do. But there was. There was an awful lot that should be being done, and he'd do it if it all played out that way. He did have his pride to consider. He wondered if they would have to give a speech. That would be easy enough if it played out that way.
Right now he was going to check in on Draco. Which ultimately mattered more. He knew Draco was going to keep searching until he found Potter no matter what it took, which was maddening. He couldn't fathom why. Not that he'd tell Draco as much, he wouldn't want to hear it and so it was a moot point.
Theo decided to check Draco's room before setting out to look around elsewhere. He knocked on the door loudly several times and waited.
