"That's awesome," Myron smiled admiringly. "I was always shite at flying." But he supposed she knew that already. It was kind of creepy, really, knowing that a stranger had almost a better grasp of your life than you did. Or at least a good twenty years of it, at any rate.
He pulled a bit of a face as they continued down the stairs. "Rather you than me. Good to know parenthood didn't change him too much though, eh? Were you staying with us, then?" He couldn't imagine that the Palace was the ideal place to raise a kid, but then what did he know? They'd never really done things the traditional way, anyway.
"I guess," he agreed. It still made his head spin to think about it. Everyone just dropping dead because... what? Some Ministry people were concerned about how quickly people were popping out kids. That was totally why he didn't trust those paperwork types? "How you doing with all that?" he asked, almost tentatively. "The whole, everyone kicking the bucket thing?"
