"Scared and running away. Yeah, that's exactly what we were doing," Ron said, but without any intention of further discussing what they'd been doing that year. "If that's what you think, why are you working for me? Go work for Kirley, deal with the money, and see if prioritizing art and books over safety." He crossed his arms. "You do have a point with blending in with Muggles, and I will work it in as a priority moving forward."
Ron wasn't sure how shopping at Harrods would solve anything--he wasn't even sure what Harrods was--but it wasn't even a possibility now anyway. "Where are we going to exchange the money, Parvati? The goblins won't work with us yet. They barely let us into the vault with keys. Most of our money is hidden away. We're paying salaries, but the rest of it? It's not done yet." He leaned back. "And let's not forget Hogwarts gets fucking pissed off if we leave it for too long. What do you think it will do if we all just take off for the Muggle world, all at once, even if it's temporary? One of us tried it, and it took our memories. What is your solution?" He bet she didn't have one, that she just expected Harry and him and Hermione to magically make it happen.
"Fine." If they had to, Hermione could do it without her even knowing, so they didn't really have to discuss it anyway. "Now, is there anything else? Because I have to get back to training soldiers."
