"Aside from Kirley, do we have any artists? Any writers? I don't think so. So who exactly is going to be creating anything at all? And if a few more people had been prepared for war, maybe the Ministry wouldn't have fallen so fast to Voldemort. Thousands of people sat back and did nothing and that's not going to happen in my department. So yes, we are doing all of that, but we are also training, we are being prepared, and we're not going to be bystanders if someone comes along and wants to destroy everything." It really couldn't be simpler as far as he was concerned. "I will make more of an effort to add in the blending in with Muggles, dealing with crime, but Parvati. We've been a Ministry for a month. I don't know half of what the people who work for me can do. I have to focus on training right now, because there's no foundation. The rest can wait a little bit."
Ron shrugged. "Well, he has a point. Our resources aren't infinite, so we have to be strategic in what we bring in first, but that doesn't mean we'll never address the other needs, but we can't do that if there aren't requests. If we have requests for certain things, we can prioritize them." Again, simple as far as he's concerned.
"So your head is more important than the entire wizarding population of Britain? Because as far as I see it, your prophecy made people go insane trying to avoid it. So maybe just keep any similar ones to yourself next time." He sighed. "Sorry, I'm not saying any of this is your fault. But the prophecy must have been the start, and I don't want that to happen again. I'm pretty sure you don't either."
