"When? At night? Or are you saying that part of training with the DMLE includes making clothes? Because if that's the case, that's what we're doing tomorrow." Now she was being ridiculous, but so was he. "If you tell people that they have jobs, and then tell them what the mandate of the job is, do you really think that they are going to go: oh well, what they really mean is don't do the job, but find a way to get the wireless from France. It's also very hard to be creative when from the top you have this mood that we're preparing for war as opposed to the fact that we're just recreating society."
She shook her head. "No, but it'd be nice if all three of you realized that while it's good to be prepared, we're not preparing for a war. We're living, we're repopulating Britain, and we're recreating society." She would take what she could get. "I didn't know that we could put requests for things that aren't Ministry sanctioned. The brooms were for defence and the wands for the goblins. At no point has anyone said that we can put requests for random things."
Parvati knew that it couldn't be the case. "Kingsley ensured that only the Minister would know of the prophecy. It was passed from Minister to Minister with a safe valve in case the Minister died. Only a handful of people, all former Ministers would have known. Unless something terrible happened for the prophecy to get out, no one would have known."
