"They were popping up all over the place in 2003," Ron said, but he wasn't going to argue about it. There either would be cameras in Snape's spot, or there wouldn't be. The only way to find out was to go forward. "Well, let's get this over with."
Snape's sarcasm was almost welcome because it meant that the man was still the same old git he'd been when Ron had been a student. "Good use of the word endeavour," he said, letting Snape take his arm. He closed his eyes because for some reason Side-Along Apparating was easier when he had his eyes closed, and felt the familiar pressure squeezing him. A moment later, he opened his eyes and made a face at the smell. "Well, it's not as foul as George's workroom, but it's close." His eyes weren't quite watering from the smell, but they were stinging.
"We need to look out for cameras, though. I want to get an idea of where they are for the future," Ron said, and he stowed his wand as they walked towards the exit. They'd gotten lucky this time, but he didn't expect that luck to hold. "And if we can, we should get a map of the Underground. Could come in handy down the road."
