Re: James & Remus
Remus laughed softly at his friend's expression. "Muggle books," he explained. "Main character's nickname was 'Old Reliable'. Mam loved 'em."
Rolling his eyes, he shook himself a bit like his alter-ego to stay drier and warm. The thing about having a slightly elevated body temperature that no one seemed to understand was that he felt the cold all that much more. He might be used to it, but it was still uncomfortable. "I'd like to see you tell Lily that and see how much wastrelling she approves of," he teased.
Following James gaze, he nodded. It wouldn't do to push this close to the transformation and, James said he was all right, then Remus would accept it for now and push later when claws and large incisors were not imminent. He snorted. "You will not flood the dungeons or you will have a cranky werewolf to deal with after," was his admonishment. Not to mention how badly Regulus might hex James for damaging his residence. "We're probably fine," he added, looking around. "But, since it doesn't hurt to check, I'll keep you company."
