Theo's thought processes flowed like water, they followed the path of least resistance and for him it was infinitely better when those streams of thought diverged and branched off. He rarely did anything without a reason, often multiple reasons. He had wrote in his journal looking for a part that he was honestly looking for, assuming if Roxanne didn't have it she'd likely chime in on it, or so he had hoped. Then of course he also thought after hearing from Scorpius that showing in a public forum that he was busy working on things related to his research it would endear himself to Padma, showing his allegiance to his department. Also a little bit of baiting, but that was just funny. To him.
"Making the astrarium, isn't that what kids are calling it in 2038?" He could almost feel the brush of her lips as she spoke and he beamed back at her when she moved back. "I already am, couldn't you tell?" He said with a little laugh. "I might be a little disappointed."
It was easy to be comfortable with Roxanne. He'd already had a peek inside her mind and how it worked. In a way it took the terrible awkwardness out of getting to know someone. Which he rarely did. Most people were forgettable and interchangeable. Roxanne on the other hand had some interests he shared, was very easy on his eyes, piqued his interest and didn't take him too seriously in the best way possible.
He turned to look back at the sculpture, thinking he'd have to do a bit of work on his own to bring back another time. "Is that right? Your going to put me to work then?" He said with a playful sigh. "I do hope I get breaks."
